Specifically with respect to your personal data, the collection and processing of such data is limited to what is strictly necessary and appropriate, both in kind and in volume, and will be processed solely for the purposes of your participation in the Ignite Ideas 4 Program (hereinafter “the Program”) and your communication with the Organizers.
Respecting your privacy and with the protection of your privacy in mind, we have ensured that we have taken all necessary and appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure continuous protection of your personal data for as long as it is held by us. Below you will find an overview of the purposes for which we collect and process your personal data, as well as a detailed description of the ways in which we process it and the principles governing its processing. You will also be informed about who has access to your data and your rights regarding the personal data we collect and process and how you can enforce them. We consider the security and protection of your personal data and privacy to be very important, and a key part of the trust relationship between us, so we invite you to take a moment to read this statement. Individuals under the age of 18
If you are under eighteen years old, do not engage in any direct or via the website interaction with us, as we cannot collect and use your personal data.
Who We Are
The Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Athens University of Economics and Business, (hereafter “ACEin”), located at Troias 2, P.O. Box 113 62, Athens, which processes your personal data throughout the duration of the program, is the owner and administrator of the Program’s Website and is solely responsible for its proper and secure operation and for taking the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data as it determines how your personal data is collected and processed, as a the Data Controller.
NESTLE HELLAS SINGLE-MEMBER S.A. (hereinafter “Nestle”) gains access to your personal data by receiving a corresponding file from ACEin. Once Nestle gains access to your personal data, Nestle and ACEin act as joint Data Controllers by jointly determining the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

What data we collect and how:
Α) If you are a Program Participant
The collection and processing of a range of data, including personal data, is necessary for the conduct of the Program and the selection of the winners, as well as for communication with Participants and Teams.
In particular:
Α) In the case of group participation, we collect the full names of the Participants – members of the Group – and their contact details (mobile phone number, email address) as well as any personal data included in their short CV. Furthermore, we collect information about the team they belong to and represent (Brief description of the idea, who are the customers, users/beneficiaries, what is the competitive advantage, what is the market opportunity/need, brief description of the team), the timeframe of the pilot implementation, and the main challenges they may face.
Β) In the case of individual participation, we collect from the Participants First Name, Last Name, E-mail, Telephone, Age, Gender, Education Level, Field of Studies, LinkedIn profile URL / Short CV, Work Experience, Soft Skills, and their answers to the following questions: Do you have the desire/thought of becoming an entrepreneur? Do you already have an entrepreneurial idea? Indicate to what extent your soft skills are developed, Indicate to what extent the following influence your career and overall career choices), To what extent have you contributed to the work of the teams you have been participated in so far? To what extent can you devote time for your personal development at this time? How much time do you think you can spend per week (on average) in an innovative entrepreneurship project?
Personal data is provided by the Participants themselves and is collected when they complete and submit the Program participation form via the website https://igniteideas.gr/ (hereinafter “the Website”).
In addition, in order to upload the files and submit the entry form through the Website, you should be linked to a Google email account (Gmail). By uploading the files and submitting the form, the name and photo associated with the Google email account you use for the submission are automatically recorded.

Submitting your application to the Program through the Website will be made using Google’s forms, which are a Cloud service that is also used to store the data you submit with the form. Google commits that the Cloud services it provides are in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation. It should be noted that neither of the two co-organisers collects, stores or has access to this data, i.e. they do not know the email address or have access to the photo associated with it. This data is collected and processed by Google in order to achieve the submission of the participation form through its services on the digital platform of the Program.
Β) If you fill in the contact form on our website
Personal data (full name and contact details) are also collected and processed through the contact form on our website.
If you choose to contact us by sending a question or comment through the contact form on our website, we will collect and process any personal data you provide (certainly your full name and contact details entered on the form) in order to contact you.

Why do we process your Personal Data?
Α) If you are a Program Participant
For the smooth and uninterrupted conduct of the Program in conditions of transparency and meritocracy, as well as for the communication with the Participants and the Teams, the information of all interested and involved parties and the selection of the winners, it is necessary to collect and process some data and information concerning you, including personal data that you share with us in the context and for the needs of the Program.

If you fill in your personal information and send us a question or comment via the contact form on our website, we will collect and process your data in order to contact you and respond to your question or comment.
In both of the above cases, your personal data collected and processed are limited to what is strictly necessary and appropriate, and their processing is strictly and exclusively limited to the context of the conduct of the Program, while being strictly governed by the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and applicable legislation and always with respect to you and your privacy.
Apart from what is expressly stated in this Statement and in the terms and conditions of the Program, we do not process your data in any other way, nor do we use it for any other purpose, and in no case do we share it with third parties, except in the cases expressly mentioned herein.
You may at any time withdraw your consent to the processing of your data, request the deletion of your data or ask us to stop processing your data. In this case, your participation in the Program will be affected accordingly.
Who can access your Personal Data and why?
Α) If you are a Program Participant
Specifically, the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Athens University of Economics and Business (ACEin) through the website (https://igniteideas.gr/) collects the personal data of the participants in the Program by submitting the participation form. ACEin as the administrator of the Program’s Website is solely responsible for the collection and storage of the personal data of the Participants and undertakes responsibility for taking and maintaining appropriate security measures on the Program’s Website to protect the data. ACEin will transfer the personal data collected through the Program’s Website to Nestle in order for Nestle to process it jointly with ACEin as co-organiser of the Program for the purposes of the Program. Nestle is not responsible because the data is collected and processed through the Website, which is managed exclusively by ACEin. For its part, Nestle commits to the protection and appropriate use of the personal data to which it will have access, and to use it exclusively for the purposes for which it was collected and processed in the context of the Program.
Those involved in the implementation of the Program are aware of their obligation to protect your personal data and your privacy, not to process or use them for any purpose or reason other than those clearly specified herein and not to disclose them to any third party at any time.
We may disclose your personal data to relevant public authorities and agencies if we are required to do so by law or in the context of our legitimate interests.
Β) If you fill in the contact form on our website
First of all, access to your data will be granted to the team that is involved in the implementation of the Program on behalf of the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which operates the digital platform that hosts the contact form.
If your question or comment cannot be answered by the team of the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Athens University of Economics and Business, then the content of your message – but not your personal data – will be transferred to the team responsible for the Program on behalf of Nestle. Afterwards, the team responsible for the Program on behalf of Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Athens University of Economics and Business will contact you again to answer the question or your comment submitted.
Those involved in the implementation of the Program are fully aware of their obligation to protect your personal data and your privacy, not to process or use them for any purpose or reason other than those clearly specified herein and not to disclose them to any third party at any time.
We may disclose your personal data to relevant public authorities and agencies if we are required to do so by law or as part of our legitimate interests.
How long and where do we keep your data?
Α) If you are a Participant in the Program
Your data is collected and processed solely for the purposes described herein and in the context of the conduct of the Program.
We take every measure to ensure that your personal data is processed and retained only for the minimum period of time required in connection with:
In any case, after the completion of the Program and unless there is another specific and legitimate reason, subject to the law and the legitimate interests of the co-organisers, your data will be permanently deleted in a secure manner.
Β) If you fill in the contact form on our website
Upon completion of our communication with you, and if there is no other serious and lawful reason, without prejudice to the law and the legitimate interests of the co-organizers, your personal data will be permanently and securely deleted manner.
Your rights to your data
Every time we ask you to provide us with any personal data, you will be informed of the reasons why we need it and how it will be used. Your personal data will only be processed for the purposes described in the Privacy Notice and the Terms and Conditions of Participation in the Program or for any other purposes that will be disclosed to you prior to the commencement of processing. If you choose not to provide us with your personal data when we ask for it, this will affect your ability to participate in the Program.
If you share with us your personal data, you have the right to: (i) request access to it (ie to find out what kind of data we have for you and obtain a copy thereof), (ii) request to be modified, or (iii) ask for the deletion of your data, in some cases (iv) withdraw your consent, in which case your participation in the Program will be affected.
